Productivity Tip: Have a routine

Many of the conversations I have with individuals about remote work best practices include a discussion of routines or patterns that help with getting ready for a productive day. Whether people are working in the office or out of the office, specific routines help to get the day started off on a good note. For people working remotely, this may include a consistent wake up time, hydrating, getting ready for the day, and breakfast all before getting online for the day. For people going to the office, a routine may look similar but may be a bit more rushed to account for commute time. The key idea is to find what works for you and put it into practice consistently.
